Supply Chain Planner – Leeds/Ferrybridge

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner to join our multinational manufacturing group at the Ferrybridge site. You will be responsible for managing stock, coordinating logistics and supporting the wider supply chain team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and replenishment activities across a broad portfolio of finished products.
• Analyse inventory holdings and identify opportunities to optimise stock levels and availability.
• Monitor back orders and support the resolution of supply issues.
• Coordinate packaging and materials replenishment requirements to support production operations.
• Maintain accurate supplier pricing and master data within ERP systems.
• Support direct shipment processes and coordinate transportation requirements.
• Monitor outstanding orders and proactively manage delivery schedules.
• Coordinate import logistics activities and support relationships with third‑party suppliers and warehouses.
• Produce regular KPI reports and analysis to aid business decision‑making.
• Assist with wider supply chain and logistics activities as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in supply chain, planning, manufacturing, logistics or operations (advantageous).
• Relevant degree and strong interest in supply chain and manufacturing (graduates encouraged).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
