Supply Chain Supervisor

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports a well‑established manufacturing client by leading daily supply‑chain activities across shipping, warehousing and inventory. You will work closely with the Purchasing function and production teams to ensure material availability, accurate stock control and on‑time dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply‑chain operations to maintain uninterrupted material flow.
• Collaborate with Production, Operations, Sales and Purchasing to align priorities and schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish inventory, and escalate shortages or risks.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, traceability, warehouse movements, cycle counts and audits.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, dispatch schedules and export/shipping documentation where required.
• Review and report KPIs such as inventory accuracy, OTIF, lead times and shortages.
• Support supplier performance discussions on pricing, lead times and service levels.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects, including ERP/MRP discipline and Lean initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in supply‑chain, logistics, procurement or manufacturing operations.
• Strong people‑management experience, including coaching, performance management and setting priorities.
• Solid understanding of warehousing, inventory control and logistics processes.
• Confidence working with ERP/MRP systems, preferably MS Dynamics Business Central.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of export/shipping documentation is an advantage.
