About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic English teachers to join our supply bank for secondary schools in Leeds. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments covering short‑term and long‑term gaps across multiple academies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality English lessons on a supply basis in secondary classrooms.
- Adapt quickly to different year groups, curricula, and school environments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning atmosphere.
- Follow each school’s policies, lesson plans, and assessment procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS).
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Proactive, reliable, and positive attitude.
- Current knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
