About the role
Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Dover to recruit supply EYFS Teachers on a full‑time, temporary basis. The role offers an immediate start and the chance to shape young learners' first educational experiences in a supportive, play‑based environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, child‑centred EYFS lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Support pupils' social, emotional and cognitive development through play‑based activities.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to monitor and promote each child's progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
- Experience teaching within the EYFS setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
