About the role
Hays Education is partnering with primary schools in Gravesend to recruit passionate Key Stage 1 teachers on a supply basis. The role offers immediate start dates and can be taken on a long‑term or flexible day‑to‑day supply arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons that meet the national curriculum.
- Inspire a love of learning and support pupils in developing confidence and core skills.
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management to create a safe learning environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support their development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Passion for helping children develop and succeed.
- Ability to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
- Positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
