About the role
Join Randstad Education as a Supply Primary Teacher in Leeds this September. This temporary role offers early‑career teachers the chance to gain hands‑on experience across a variety of local primary schools while completing induction requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies.
- Adapt quickly to new school environments and year groups.
- Ensure child safeguarding standards are met at all times.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks and reporting for each placement.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – already held or attainable by September.
- Recent UK primary teaching experience or placements.
- Strong adaptability and enthusiasm for varied classroom settings.
- Commitment to safeguarding, including willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
- Professional references covering teaching practice.
