About the role
We are seeking qualified primary teachers to provide cover across schools in Sutton. This supply role offers flexible, part‑time or contract work, ideal for teachers who value work‑life balance and want to gain varied classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lessons according to the absent teacher’s plans.
- Supervise and engage students during lessons, breaks, lunch, and other school routines.
- Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies.
- Take registers, attend assemblies and perform day‑to‑day duties of the permanent teacher.
- Maintain a safe learning environment and follow safeguarding and safety protocols.
Required profile
- Qualified Primary trained teacher (QTS), open to Early‑Career Teachers and experienced staff.
- Flexible, reliable and punctual.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
