Supply Reception Teacher – Dover

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Dover to recruit enthusiastic Reception Teachers on a supply basis. You will join welcoming school communities and help children embark on their educational journey, creating a supportive and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) lessons that foster curiosity, creativity and confidence.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development and monitor individual progress.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of each child.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
• Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception settings.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Passion for early childhood development and ability to build positive relationships.

Required skills

• Ability to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and assessment methods.
