Supply SEN Teaching Assistant – East London (Sept 2026)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across East London from September 2026. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments in inclusive classrooms, allowing you to gain varied experience while making a real difference to pupils with additional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, SEMH and complex learning needs.
• Deliver classroom‑based SEN support, adapting activities and resources to meet individual requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement personalised learning plans.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children with SEND in a school setting.
• Patient, caring and proactive attitude with strong communication and behaviour‑management skills.
• Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
