About the role

Academics is seeking qualified teachers to work as Supply Teachers or Cover Supervisors in Watford schools starting in September. This flexible, day‑to‑day role lets you choose the days and hours that suit your schedule while gaining classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage and maintain a productive learning environment.
• Deliver lesson plans prepared by the permanent teaching staff.
• Manage student behaviour and ensure safety throughout the day.
• Record attendance and report any issues to the school leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (including early‑career teachers).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Willingness to obtain or hold an enhanced DBS clearance.
• Availability to work on a flexible, as‑needed basis.
