About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable supply teachers to deliver high‑quality lessons across secondary schools in Sussex and the surrounding area. This day‑to‑day role offers flexible working patterns, allowing you to gain experience in a variety of school environments while making a positive impact on pupils' learning journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum objectives for secondary pupils.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, teaching styles and classroom dynamics.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere for students.
• Collaborate with existing staff to ensure smooth daily operations and continuity of learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans and student progress as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching secondary‑school students is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude towards varying school environments.
