Hays Education Wirral is seeking qualified Early Career Teachers (ECT) to work on a supply basis across primary schools in the Wirral area. This flexible position allows you to choose the number of days you work, making it ideal for students, parents, or anyone needing a adaptable schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum to primary pupils in a variety of school settings.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with permanent staff, parents, and school leadership to support pupil progress.
• Adapt lesson plans quickly to suit different school contexts and student needs.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Recent, verifiable classroom experience.
• Approachable, patient, and able to integrate into new school environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
