About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic supply teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Blackburn and East Lancashire. This role offers flexible, short‑term or long‑term assignments, allowing you to gain experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while building a strong teaching portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Teach on a day‑to‑day, short‑term or long‑term supply basis.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high learning standards.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
• Willingness to teach across multiple year groups (EYFS to KS2).
• Reliable transport for travel within the BB1‑BB10 postcode area.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Professional, confident and adaptable attitude.
