Supply Teacher

About the role

Join a network of primary schools in Cambridge as a Supply Teacher, delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This temporary position offers flexible, on‑site work with weekly PAYE payments, ideal for both experienced teachers and early‑career educators seeking varied classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow or create lesson plans as required.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils, staff and, where appropriate, parents.
• Accurately record attendance and provide feedback at the end of each assignment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to settle quickly into new schools.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Professional, reliable and enthusiastic about impacting pupils positively.
