Supply Teacher (KS2) – Whitstable Primary Schools

About the role
Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Whitstable to find enthusiastic KS2 teachers for supply and long‑term placements. You will join supportive school communities, delivering lessons that inspire confidence and curiosity in pupils aged 7‑11.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote good conduct.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Commitment to pupil progress and achievement.
- Enthusiasm, adaptability and a passion for teaching.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson planning and delivery.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
