Supply Teacher Needed in Tunbridge Wells

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with primary schools in Tunbridge Wells to recruit enthusiastic KS2 teachers for full‑time, long‑term and day‑to‑day supply assignments. The role starts immediately and offers the chance to support pupils during a pivotal stage of their primary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Key Stage 2 classes.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, resilience and independence.
• Manage behaviour effectively while maintaining high expectations for all learners.
• Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support across the curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
• Proven experience teaching at Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Commitment to high academic standards and inclusive practice.
• Enthusiasm, adaptability and a genuine passion for teaching.
