Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (EYFS to Year 6)

About the role

Engage Education is seeking qualified primary supply teachers to work across mainstream schools in Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire area. You will cover both planned and unplanned absences from EYFS to Year 6, working Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 15:30 pm. The role offers flexible supply assignments as well as full‑time opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum for EYFS to Year 6 classes.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Implement each school’s policies and procedures accurately.
• Provide reliable cover at short notice, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Participate in any required safeguarding and DBS processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Flexibility to respond to short‑notice assignments.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to deliver high‑quality lessons.
• Strong behaviour management capabilities.
• Ability to follow and apply school policies consistently.
