Supply Teacher – Primary Schools in Hammersmith & Fulham

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic supply teachers to deliver high‑quality primary education across a network of schools in Hammersmith & Fulham. This flexible, temporary position allows you to step into varied classroom environments while gaining experience across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stages 1 and 2.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Adapt quickly to different school routines, policies and classroom settings.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports pupil progress.
• Follow pre‑set lesson plans or introduce creative approaches when appropriate.
• Ensure strong classroom management and uphold school safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with existing staff to provide continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication abilities.
• Flexible, proactive attitude with the ability to start immediately.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for primary education.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
