Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (Key Stages 1‑2) – Gillingham

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic supply teachers to provide day‑to‑day and short‑term cover for primary schools across Gillingham. The role starts immediately and offers flexible assignments across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Ensure pupils continue to make progress during staff absences.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching in primary education.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Ability to deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress.
- Professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
