About the role

Primary schools across Tunbridge Wells are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide high‑quality classroom cover for Key Stages 1 and 2. The role is ideal for early‑career teachers or experienced practitioners seeking flexible, short‑term assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver well‑prepared lessons and maintain clear expectations for cover work.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Support pupil progress and wellbeing across a variety of year groups.
• Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching in primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2).
• Positive, adaptable and professional approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
