Supply Teacher – Primary & Secondary (Preston)

About the role

Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, is seeking supply teachers for primary and secondary schools in the Preston area. The role can be part‑time or full‑time, with a minimum commitment of two days per week and the flexibility to travel across local schools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across EYFS, Key Stages 1‑5 in line with the National Curriculum.
• Provide continuity of learning for pupils while covering staff absences.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments and reporting as required.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a safe learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with excellent spelling and grammar.
• Recent experience in primary, secondary or SEN settings.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in at least one key stage.
• Commitment to professional development and a passion for working with children.
• Dedication to safeguarding and child welfare.
