Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (County Durham)

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic supply teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in secondary schools throughout County Durham. The role offers flexible daily or longer‑term placements, allowing you to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs.
- Provide cover for a range of subjects, with specialism welcomed but not essential.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Proactive, positive attitude and ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
