Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools in Brighton

About the role

Engage Education is seeking qualified supply teachers to cover both planned and unplanned absences in secondary schools across Brighton. You will be called upon at short notice to deliver engaging lessons and maintain classroom continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adhere to each school's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Provide accurate records of attendance and lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Flexibility to work on short‑notice assignments.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to deliver high‑quality teaching.
• Strong behaviour management capabilities.
• Ability to follow and implement school policies.
