About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic secondary supply teachers to cover classrooms in Worthing and the surrounding South East England area. You will step into a variety of subjects and year groups on a short‑term basis, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils’s progress. The role offers flexibility and the chance to gain experience across different schools.
Key responsibilities
- Enter classrooms on short notice and deliver planned or improvised lessons.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different subjects, year groups and student needs.
- Provide accurate records of attendance and lesson outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Flexible, proactive and positive attitude towards temporary assignments.
