Supply Teacher - SEND

About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic SEND teachers to join its talent pool for the upcoming academic year. As a supply teacher you will provide high‑quality instruction to pupils with a range of additional needs across specialist and mainstream settings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEND pupils.
• Adapt resources and assessments to support diverse learning profiles.
• Maintain classroom behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with senior staff, teaching assistants and external specialists.
• Record progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (QTS) or equivalent with experience in SEND.
• Flexibility to work on a daily, long‑term or permanent supply basis.
• Willingness to work in both specialist provisions and mainstream schools.
