About the role
Hays Education is partnering with primary schools in Margate to find enthusiastic Year 5 teachers for Upper Key Stage 2. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress and preparing students for Year 6.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons across the curriculum.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Commitment to pupil progress and attainment.
Required skills
- Lesson planning and delivery.
- Classroom management.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
