Supply Teachers – Primary School Positions in Taunton

About the role

Supply Education Alliance is seeking enthusiastic Primary School Teachers to provide cover across a range of schools in Taunton and surrounding areas. The role offers both short‑term and long‑term assignments, suitable for newly qualified teachers or experienced staff looking for flexible work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned cover lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Prepare and adapt teaching resources as required.
• Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth classroom management.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status (applications from other teaching backgrounds are welcome).
• Current DBS check or subscription to the Update Service (agency can arrange).
• Minimum three‑year reference history.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Reliability, strong communication skills and ability to commute to Taunton.
