Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible Classroom Support

About the role

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Hatfield on a flexible basis. This temporary role allows you to work in the classroom when it suits you, gaining valuable experience across a range of schools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Support individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help maintain a positive and orderly learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different year groups, classes, and school settings.

Required profile

• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Confidence in classroom management and encouraging positive behaviour.
• Reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to make a positive impact.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
