Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible School Support in Aylesbury Vale

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to provide flexible support across schools in Aylesbury Vale. The role covers Early Years Foundation Stage through Key Stages 1‑4 and includes SEN settings, offering day‑to‑day, short‑term or longer‑term assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide one‑to‑one and group support for pupils, including those with special educational needs.
• Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Prepare and organise teaching resources and classroom materials.
• Supervise pupils during breaks, assemblies and other non‑instructional times.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
• Familiarity with EYFS, KS1‑KS4 curricula and basic SEN support.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom support abilities.
• Reliability, flexibility and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to travel between schools across Aylesbury Vale.
