About the role
Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teaching Assistants to support early‑year classrooms across Leeds. You will join a network of local primary schools on a flexible, supply basis, helping pupils develop phonics and literacy skills.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted phonics interventions to EYFS and Key Stage 1 learners.
- Assist the class teacher with daily routines, classroom management and individualized support.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and build rapport with pupils.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and follow safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Recent experience working in a UK primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Education (desirable) and an enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
