Supply Teaching Assistant – Wade Deacon Trust Schools

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable supply teaching assistants to join the Wade Deacon Trust schools in Liverpool. This flexible, temporary role allows you to support pupils’ learning across multiple schools while making a real difference.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide support for pupils with SEND where required.
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school‑based experience desirable).
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential, depending on role).
