Supply Year 3 Teacher – Tonbridge (Full‑time & Supply)

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with several primary schools in Tonbridge to recruit enthusiastic Year 3 teachers. The role supports pupils as they transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, fostering confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 3 classes.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to students, parents and colleagues.
• Collaborate with school leadership and staff to contribute to a positive school culture.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
• Experience teaching in primary education, preferably Lower KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Commitment to pupil development and inclusive teaching.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver well‑structured lessons across the curriculum.
• Effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
