About the role
Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic staff to support Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in Wokingham. Roles include Teaching Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants and both qualified and unqualified teachers, with start dates as soon as vetting is completed.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to children and young people aged 5‑18 with a range of additional needs.
- Work closely with therapists, behaviour specialists and families to deliver holistic support.
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a nurturing learning environment.
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting children with SEN.
- Patient, empathetic and resilient.
- Flexible and able to adapt to diverse learning and behavioural needs.
- Experience in education or SEN is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
