Support Worker – Adult Care (Margate)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Margate, providing person‑centred care to adults with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and other complex needs. You will help individuals live independently, enjoy daily activities and connect with their community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care, hygiene and medication as required.
• Support daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and managing finances.
• Promote social interaction by encouraging visits with family, friends and community groups.
• Implement behaviour‑support plans and respond to challenging situations safely.
• Document care activities and communicate progress to the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Full UK automatic driving licence.
• Flexibility to work AM, PM, night and sleep‑in shifts.
• Commitment to person‑centred, respectful care.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check.

Required skills

• Ability to follow care plans and health‑and‑safety procedures.
