Support Worker – Adult Residential Care

About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a trusted adult care provider in Ashford. As a Support Worker you will help residents maintain independence, build confidence and enjoy a high quality of life within a residential setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks while encouraging independence.
- Provide personal care respectfully and with dignity when required.
- Support individuals to engage in hobbies, activities and community opportunities.
- Build positive, trust‑based relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Administer medication in line with training and organisational procedures.
- Complete accurate care documentation and report any changes in wellbeing.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to deliver outstanding care.
Required profile
- Kind, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional support.
- Experience in adult social care, residential care or a similar Support Worker role.
- Empathetic approach with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

- Competitive salary of £25,000‑£28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
