Support Worker – Adult Social Care (Full‑time)

About the role
We are seeking caring and dependable Support Workers to join a respected provider in Guildford. In this full‑time position you will help adults live as independently as possible, promoting choice, confidence and a meaningful daily life.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily routines and encourage independent living.
- Provide personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Support participation in activities, hobbies and community opportunities.
- Offer emotional support and build trusting relationships.
- Maintain accurate care records and promptly report any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality care.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a support worker, care assistant or adult social care role.
- Warm, patient and empathetic nature.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Willingness to learn, develop and undertake ongoing training.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

- Salary £25,000‑£28,000 per year (depending on experience).
