Support Worker – Bristol (Full‑time)

About the role

Riverside Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join its Bristol team. You will work across a mix of early, mid and late shifts, providing practical assistance and emotional support to vulnerable customers as they rebuild their lives.

Key responsibilities

• Connect customers with employability coaches, benefits services and other support agencies.
• Assist with money management, benefit sign‑ups and housing transitions.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and support provided.
• Deliver structured support while managing risk and safeguarding concerns.
• Work independently on some occasions and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged people.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver structured support and manage risk.
• Empathetic, resilient and able to maintain professional boundaries.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and non‑standard shifts.
• Understanding of homelessness, addiction or related lived experience is valued.
