Support Worker – Care Assistant (Arlesi​ey)

About the role

Voyage Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our supported‑living service in Arlesey. You will help individuals gain independence, enjoy daily activities and improve their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care, meal preparation and daily living tasks.
• Teach and reinforce new life‑skills to promote confidence and independence.
• Encourage participation in community activities, social outings and hobbies.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and respond to challenging behaviours safely.
• Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Resilient, flexible and composed under pressure.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex mental‑health needs and challenging behaviours.
• Ability to reflect on practice and follow care plans.

Required skills

• Driving licence (full UK).
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.
