Support Worker – Care Assistant in St Albans

About the role

Voyage Care is seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our supported living service in St Albans. You will help individuals develop independence and confidence through daily activities, personal care, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Teach and encourage new life‑skills such as cooking, budgeting and social interaction.
• Support clients in accessing local community venues, social events and recreational activities.
• Provide companionship through games, films, outings to pubs or cinemas.
• Document care plans and report any changes in client wellbeing.

Required profile

• A genuine caring attitude and passion for improving quality of life.
• Willingness to learn on the job; no prior experience required.
• Ability to work flexibly within a dynamic team.
