Support Worker – Care for Individuals with Autism & Learning Disabilities

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a charitable service in Tonbridge, Kent. You will help individuals with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour achieve greater independence while receiving professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and personal care.
• Provide travel escort and support for community‑based activities.
• Teach independent life skills and facilitate access to social and leisure opportunities.
• Work flexible shifts, including days, nights and sleep‑ins, to meet service needs.

• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Professional, reliable and flexible attitude.
• Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Patience and a sense of humour.
