Support Worker – Care for Individuals with Complex Needs

About the role

As a Support Worker with Agincare, you will provide person‑centred care to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and other complex needs. Working from our Beeston site in Nottingham, you will help individuals live independently, achieve personal goals and enjoy a better quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage service users to participate actively in their local community and pursue independence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, budgeting and routine planning.
• Communicate effectively using each person’s preferred methods and support tools.
• Promote positive behaviour support strategies when required.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also using initiative when needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with strong people skills.
• Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.

• Ability to support positive behavioural approaches.
• Accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
