Support Worker – Community Care Role

About the role

As a Support Worker you will help individuals in Wales and England maintain independence and enjoy an active life in their own homes and communities. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills you need.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation and household chores.
• Support clients to engage in local activities, appointments and social events.
• Promote safe and comfortable living environments.
• Maintain accurate records of support provided and communicate any concerns to the team.

Required profile

• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by Perthyn).
• Positive attitude, empathy and good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time, including evenings or weekends if required.
• Ability to travel to client locations across the listed regions.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills are required; training will be provided.
