Support Worker Driver – Adult Care (Jarrow)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker Driver to join our team in Jarrow, South Tyneside. You will provide person‑centred personal, practical, emotional and social support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, while also using your driving licence to assist with transport and outings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver respectful personal care and administer medication as required.
• Encourage residents to take part in a variety of social activities both on‑site and in the community.
• Build warm, trusting relationships that enable service users to enjoy their time fully.
• Work flexibly on a rota that includes evenings and weekends to meet service needs.

Required profile

• Experienced and highly motivated with a person‑centred approach.
• UK driving licence and ability to drive safely.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence within the country.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
