Support Worker Driver (Jarrow)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker Driver to join our team in Jarrow, South Tyneside. In this full‑time position you will provide person‑centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, helping them live fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver respectful personal care and administer medication as required.
• Encourage and accompany service users to a variety of social activities, both on‑site and in the community.
• Build warm, trusting relationships to promote wellbeing and independence.
• Work flexibly on a rota, including evenings and weekends, to meet service demands.
• Drive service users safely using a valid UK driving licence.

Required profile

• Motivated and compassionate attitude towards supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated team and adapt to changing daily needs.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.
• Legal right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence.
