Support Worker (Driver) – Person‑Centred Care

About the role

Join a leading UK charity as a Support Worker (Driver) and provide person‑centred care to adults living independently. You will work closely with four individuals, helping them enjoy daily life while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Support four individuals aged 50‑70 with personal care, medication administration and daily living tasks.
• Assist with home management, including cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting.
• Facilitate daily activities and outings such as walks, hobbies, gardening and community participation.
• Provide safe transport using a valid UK driving licence for appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with the Service Leader and multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards vulnerable adults.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Availability for day shifts (8 am‑3 pm, 2.30 pm‑10 pm) and occasional waking nights.
• Commitment to a permanent 16‑hour weekly contract.

Required skills

• Medication administration.
• Personal care support.
• Home management (cooking, cleaning, budgeting).
