Support Worker (Full‑time, Guildford)

About the role

You will work on‑site at one of Riverside's supported services, helping vulnerable customers rebuild their lives. The role involves connecting clients with employability coaches, benefits advice, financial guidance and housing support while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to vulnerable individuals, boosting confidence and independence.
• Link clients with employability coaches, support agencies and benefit services.
• Assist with money management, benefits sign‑up and transition to permanent housing.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and support plans.
• Deliver structured support and risk‑management activities, including occasional lone working.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Proven ability to deliver structured support and manage risk.
• Team‑player with a caring, empathetic and resilient attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and lone‑working situations.
• Personal lived experience of homelessness, addiction or related challenges is a plus.

• Permanent contract with a salary of £28,031.56 per annum.
• Full‑time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 9‑5 plus 1 in 3 weekends.
