Support Worker – Full‑time, Guildford

About the role

As a Support Worker you will be based at Vaughan House in Guildford, delivering personalised assistance to vulnerable customers. You will help them access employability coaching, manage finances, claim benefits and move towards stable, permanent housing.

Key responsibilities

• Connect customers with employability coaches and other support agencies.
• Assist with money management, benefits registration and housing applications.
• Boost confidence and provide emotional support throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Work a rolling rota, including occasional weekends, to meet service demands.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Proven ability to deliver structured support and manage risk.
• Team‑player with a caring, empathetic nature and resilient, can‑do attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including lone working and occasional weekends.
• Personal lived experience of homelessness, addiction or related challenges is valued.
