Support Worker – Full‑time, £15.50/hr, Runcorn

About the role

Transforming Support is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live independently in their own homes. You will work across day and night shifts, providing person‑centred care and promoting choice.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage independence in daily routines and life‑skills.
• Provide personal care, emotional support and wellbeing assistance.
• Facilitate community, education and work opportunities.
• Assist with medication, finances and planning (full training provided).
• Promote positive risk‑taking, dignity and choice.
• Maintain clear records and collaborate with the team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Patient, kind and genuinely caring.
• Respectful of dignity and individuality.
• Calm, supportive and consistent under pressure.
• Team player with good communication.
• Willing to work agreed day or night shifts on a rotating rota.

Required skills

• Full training will be provided for medication handling and financial planning.
