Support Worker – Full‑time (Tameside, Greater Manchester)

About the role
Lifeways is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join its team in Tameside, Greater Manchester. This full‑time position involves providing personalised care and assistance to adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental health needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with personal care routines such as washing, dressing and toileting.
- Prepare meals and support household tasks.
- Help service users attend appointments and engage in community activities.
- Encourage independence, develop life‑skills and promote choice and dignity.
Required profile
- Friendly, reliable and flexible with the ability to work rotational shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and occasional sleep‑ins.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check and any required training.
- Interest in supporting adults with diverse and complex needs.
