Support Worker – Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role
Perthyn is looking for compassionate Support Workers to help individuals across Wales and England live independently and engage with their local communities. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks to promote independence.
- Support clients in accessing community activities and services.
- Provide occasional sleep‑in support where required.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided.
Required profile
- Willingness to learn and follow training.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time, including evenings or weekends.
- Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by Perthyn).
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; training will be provided.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rates: £12.71 (standard) or £13.71 (enhanced) per hour.
- Sleep‑in rate of £60.00 per night where applicable.
- Full training and ongoing support.
- DBS check funded by the employer.
